About The Work

Deciding to start therapy is not always an easy decision, it may be that you have made this decision for yourself or that friends and family have suggested it might be helpful. Whatever brought you here today, welcome.

Choosing a therapist can be really difficult, I offer a 15 minute phone call to discuss whether we can work together free of charge, we can also explore whether you are looking for face to face counselling or online work. Face to face counselling takes place in Westerham, Kent. The initial phone call is followed by an assessment session (£50). This allows time for us both to decide if this is a good fit. If we are both happy to proceed we can then work together in an open ended integrative way, with reviews every 6-8 sessions.

As a qualified integrative counsellor, I combine Person Centred Therapy with Psychodynamic practice allowing us to explore the whole of you. The presenting issue, the impact of your current circumstances whilst also exploring how your past has shaped you.  I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework.

I am passionate about therapy, mental health and looking after ourselves and am looking forward to hearing from you.

Testimonials

"Jenny really helped me unpick some of the root causes of my anxiety with patience and compassion. Whilst I know that I’ve potentially got a bumpy road ahead, I feel much better placed to enter this next phase with the tools and reflections you allowed me to develop."
